The Albany Times-Union ran a very unflattering piece on Syracuse football, which also happens to be pretty accurate. Normally, reading something this should infuriate an alumnus such as myself, but the author did it so skillfully that I can do nothing but sigh and agree.
However, I did enjoy portions of the piece; in fact, one paragraph summed up SU football perfectly and caused me to chuckle:
“We will not congregate en masse to watch in high def as Syracuse opens its football season. Some things, such as skin grafts, nipple piercing and Syracuse football, are best viewed in as low a resolution as possible.”
Indeed.

Oh you should still be infuriated — it’s just a question of where your rage is directed.

I know where to direct it – QB Perry Patterson. Worst. QB. In. Division. I.
