2005: Kansas City Chiefs … number one offense in the NFL (by the traditional measure, yards gained).
2006: Herm Edwards takes over, starts installing the the prevent offense. KC Chiefs become positively middling: Sixteenth overall offense.
2007: Herm is in full effect. Kansas City’s offense is number twenty-nine — though in fairness in terms of points scored they’re number thirty-one.

Yeah, a friend mentioned to me that LJ had complained about the offensive play calling and that perhaps the RB should shut up. Knowing how Herm had run the show in NY though leads me to believe that LJ might be on to something…
