The craziest year in college football continued on Saturday.
-Notre Dame lost to Air Force and the Irish officially hit rock bottom . . . until they lose to Duke on Saturday.
-Most of the temporary pretenders (UConn, USF, BC, Ohio State, Michigan, Arkansas) have been knocked off their high perch, leaving what appears to FINALLY be the cream of the crop on top, although I’m not convinced by any of the 3 top-10 Big 12 teams.
-The National Championship picture is coming into form with only 2 weeks left. If they win out, it SHOULD be Oregon v LSU.

I really want to see the Ducks in the championship game. Go Oregon!

I’m going on record – and out on a very thin limb – to predict the shocking, which no one expects: Kansas runs the table the next three weeks, beating (BCS-ranked) #5 Mizzou, and #4 Oklahoma in the process, and giving everyone a fit, as they try to make the case that an undefeated regular season power conference team DOESN’T deserve to be in the BCS title game against either Oregon or LSU. And then everyone has a second migraine, trying to figure out which of the one-loss LSU or OU deserves to play Kansas. HAHAHAAHAHAAA.
BCS Playoff system, here we come!!
