It looks like A-Rod will capture the career home run title in pinstripes. From LoHud:
In what was a bad day for the Scott Boras Corporation, Alex Rodriguez went to the Yankees directly and apparently has all but finalized a 10-year, $275 million deal.
Hot damn — welcome back, doucheburger!

LOL… A COMEUPPANCE I SAY! COMEUPPANCE! I think it was as many suspected – Boras overplayed his hand and ARod/Boras decided they damn well better get back in the Yankees good graces.
Second best news about this is that now the Yankees aren’t competitors for Lowell’s services.

So how much is Texas paying Boras?

The real question I am wondering is how much (if anything at all) Scotty-boy is making off the A-Rod negotiated deal with the Yankees? If he’s getting zippy (oh god please may that be the case), that’s a healthy chunk of cash he was probably banking already.
Sigh, cancel plans for the S.S. Boras IV – he’ll have to content himself with only 3 yachts making up his fleet.

Unless A-Rod fires Boras, he’ll get his usual commission. Easiest @$15m he’ll ever make.
