Funny indeed, but not really accurate. Igawa /has/ been effective at the AAA level. Seriously, he’s 9-8 in 20 starts. With 117 IP, he’s got 117 K’s, a 3.62 ERA and a WHIP of 1.18. That’s not bad. Just hasn’t translated to the majors.
Of course, with a $4M/year salary, that would make him the most expensive AAA pitcher ever.
Well, put this in perspective. This AAA pitcher makes more than the Nats rotation combined…
