Ummm . . . yeah

So that was pretty much pathetic.

If the Irish don’t play better going forward, you can go ahead and pencil in losses to Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Washington, UNC, BC, USC, and Pitt.

Charlie and his players better bring their A-game against Meat-chicken next week, or his days in the Bend may be numbered.

  • If his days are numbered and he goes the way of Ty, what exactly could the plan be? Are they going to just keep bringing in new “savior” coaches who fail? I thought Charlie was the savior? But then again, if I recall it was Ty who brought about the “return to glory” right? Just exactly how much optimism over reality can the Indiana Catholic fan base handle? My guess is that it is endless, since the mystique is based on fantasy and emotion.

Um, SDSU? What happened to “every week” a serious foe?

If ND is going to schedule lightweights rather than put together “the toughest schedule in college football” then they are scheduling just like all of the colleges that are members of confernences. If that is the case, then what is the justification for the rest of college football putting up with ND’’s privileged position as an independent with their own network and BSC slot?

  • Next week’s UM v. ND game has all the makings of a classic… that is, classically AWFUL. Michigan and ND look just pathetic.

  • You are right Scott, it could be like watching a Monkey shit-fight at the zoo.

They SAY that the biggest improvement of the season happens between wekks 1 and 2. I guess we’ll see, but color me unimpressed.

  • Its a good thing ND didn’t schedule East Carolina.

  • How ‘BOUT that Big East!?! Those Mountaineers looked AWESOME in carrying the Big LEast banner this weekend! That conference sucks just as bad as the ACC. And so do those hicks from Morgantown. SUCK IT, WVU!

  • Borg, please. NOBODY sucks as bad as the ACC right now.

In my latest conference rankings, I have the ACC 8th, behind all 5 BCS conferences AND the MWC and CUSA.

The ACC is the worst BCS conference ever.

Now the BE is very bad this year, but they are still better than the ACC. With only half as many teams, they still have twice as many top-flight programs.
