Week Four was an interesting week as conference play began for most schools we started seperating the men from the boys. LSU showed that they are not ready to give up their title without a fight in beating Auburn on the road. Alabama showed they are for real, throttling Arkansas. Florida once again took Tennessee behind the woodshed, possibly spelling doom for Phil Fulmer. Georgia travelled west of the Mississippi for the first time in decades and took out a decent Arizona State team.
And that’s just the SEC!
Elsewhere, Notre Dame showed they still have a long way to go before they can compete for a BCS bowl. Oregon’s cavalcade of QB injuries finally caught up with them in a loss to Boise State. Ohio State continued to look mediocre while Penn State’s offensive prowess contiunues to impress. Wake Forest appears to be the toast of the ACC, while its becomming obvious that WVU made a horrible decision to give a 6-year contract to Bill Stewart who appears to be in WAY over his head. Finally, this may be the year of the BCS-busting Cinderellas. Several non-BCS schools survived non-conference season with undefeated records. Any one of Ball State, Tulsa, Utah, Boise State, or TCU could crash the BCS party, but the best of the bunch is BYU, led by Heisman contender QB Max Hall.
Week 5 should be very good as even the Big Ten and Big East kick off conference play.

There’s a typo in your Conference Rankings: no way can the ACC be better than the Big East!!
