    Hello to Bob Vanasse. I am a Weymouth resident. I have met/heard of Bob Vanasses from Andover, Fall River and West Warwick,RI. Are you part of any of those clans?

    I know of three other guys named Bob Vanasse. Well, you would be the fourth. Bob in Andover is my first cousin. There was also a Bob Vanasse who was on the swim team at Boston College at the same time I was there. He married a woman who was in my high school class, which confused the hell out of the alumni people. I grew up in New Bedford, and there is another Bob there who is some sort of bowling champion. I used to do radio reports for a station up there, and one time someone called in and congratulated me on my bowling success. I told them I was a mediocre golfer but had not held a bowling ball since a couple of drunken adventures in high school. I have cousins in Weymouth, actually, though none named Bob. I am not aware of being related to anyone in Fall River or Warwick. My cousin, however is a serious geneaologist, so if you are curious, you should emaim me, and I can put you in touch.
