And FYI, here is his resumé: Prior to coming to BC, Jagodzinski had worked as an NFL assistant since 1999. He was tight ends coach for the Packers from 1999 to 2002, then served in the same role for the Falcons in 2003 and ‘04 before moving up to be Atlanta’s offensive line coach in ‘05. He then went back to Green Bay as offensive coordinator for the 2006 season before BC came calling. Before coming to the NFL, Jagodzinski served on college staffs since 1989 with BC, East Carolina, LSU, Northern Illinois, and Wisconsin-Whitewater (his alma mater).

On further review . . .

1. I find it ironic that GDF is toeing a hard line, demanding loyalty, when he and his school are the epitome of disloyalty considering they stabbed the Big East in the back a few years back. Let’s see, its okay for BC to leave the Big East and go to the ACC for a bigger payout, but it isn’t okay for one of their employees to do the same?

2. This is apparently the 4th coach that GDF has had a toxic relationship with over the past four seasons. In addition to his falling out with Tom O’Brien and reported rumblings with head hoops coach Al Skinner, there are rumors of discord between GDF and several other coaches at Fredo U. Maybe GDF is the problem?

3. Who would want the BC job if they know they are locked in for the term of their contract and would have to deal with a jerk like this? BC is and always has been a stepping-stone job, and GDF needs to realize this.

No one seems to have any details about JZ’s contract, but you figure he’s making a million a year on his five year contract. If all of this soap opera is true, it will be interesting to see who eats that.

seriously, tho, that is a VERY bizarre ultimatum. unless there’s an odd clause in Jag’s contract about interviewing for other/pro jobs, i doubt BC could do that. that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. stoopid Felippo.

blah blah blah college football blah blah blah - who cares? BC just beat Carolina! IN Chapel Hill! And it wasn’t terribly close!!! HUZZAH! Congrats to the Eagles hoopsters, and Go To Hell, Carolina, GO TO HELL!! 0-1 in the ACC baby!.Of course, this probably means that Pitt will be #1 tomorrow, thanks to losses by U-Con, UNC and Oklahoma. Bah. But at least Duke will probably be #2! >:-)
