The craziest year in college football continued on Saturday. 
-Notre Dame lost to Air Force and the Irish officially hit rock bottom . . . until they lose to Duke on Saturday.
-Most of the temporary pretenders (UConn, USF, BC, Ohio State, Michigan, Arkansas) have been knocked off their high perch, leaving what appears to FINALLY be [...]

The craziest year in college football continued on Saturday. 
-Notre Dame lost to Navy for the first time in 44 years.  Congrats to the gutty Navy players, but the bigger story is ND Coach Charlie Weis finally “losing the crowd.”  The ND football program is now at an all-time low, and regardless of whose fault it [...]

This Saturday, Notre Dame plays Navy in South Bend.  At 1-7, the Irish are 3 point favorites at home against the Middies who they have beaten each of the last 43 seasons, going back to the Roger Staubach-led 1963 Navy team’s victory.

Another topsy-turvy week on the college gridiron.  No MAJOR upsets, several small ones like BC over V-Tech on a Thursday night in Blacksburg or Kentucky going down to Mississippi State.  On to my rankings:

USA Today re-ordered its Coach’s poll from the first week in October according to graduation success rate for classes entering 1997-2000. It’s not a pretty picture.
